The Barco® MDRC-2120 is a versatile display offered at an incredible value. It can be used in diverse clinical applications, from viewing electronic medical records containing patient data and medical images to viewing dental images. It's qualified for use in all areas of hospitals.
Professional Imaging
With a 20-inch, 2MP LCD screen and a 10-bit lookup table, the Barco® MDRC-2120 displays medical images and documents within a generous viewing area and with more accurate colors, sharper contrast, and a much wider viewing angle than conventional monitors. Clinical images, reports, and files can be organized in portrait or landscape orientation according to your preferences.
An optional protective front cover can help to protect the screen from damage and make cleaning the equipment easy and safe.
Longevity
With any monitor, brightness dims over time. To compensate for this inevitability and maintain brightness levels that comply with DICOM, the Barco® MDRC-2120 has a Backlight Output Stabilization (BLOS®) sensor that measures the brightness of the monitor's lamps and then communicates with the monitor's electrical panel to increase brightness levels as needed. Stable levels of brightness contribute to long-term image consistency. The BLOS sensor also ensures fast power-up.
When the MDRC-2120 isn't in use, it automatically switches to sleep mode. This reduces energy consumption significantly and extends the life of the LCD backlights.
Automated DICOM Compliance and QA
Independently and continually, integrated MediCal QAWeb® software automatically calibrates the Barco® MDRC-2120 to DICOM and conducts QA checks. This assures you that you're always looking at a high-quality image and guarantees its consistency across healthcare enterprises.
